Institute Of Darul Furqan

The DFI Mission

Duty of care: Individual and collective wellbeing

The overall aim of The Institute of Darul Furqan is to work towards a harmonious society. Individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, walks of life and varying concerns are benefiting from the services and support offered by the Institute. The globe has seen a huge shift in dynamics since the onset of the pandemic. In this post modern era, unity without differentiation through empathy for oneself and others is ever so important. Preserving the wellbeing of oneself, the family and any society we live in has become crucial in order to live a wholesome life. Our hope is to always bring the above principles in to fruition for anyone who shares the same values of love, unity and wellbeing.

The Institutes goal is to support seekers in breaking free from any suffering or trauma that may prevent them from reaching their highest potential and to guide anyone who is trying to find a more meaningful and lasting connection with the Divine in order to live a fulfilling life.

Fulfilment: Where time tested spirituality meets modernity

The Darul Furqan Institute is the vehicle for the Naqshbandi Mujaddidi  tariqa*. One of the many purposes of the Darul Furqan Institute is to also make available the teachings of Tasawwuf through this lineage and support whom so ever genuinely wishing to pursue the path of connecting with The Divine Oneness.

Definition of a successful life varies between individuals. If you find yourself reading thus far, you may agree that there may have been, on numerous occasions; thoughts on the feeling of emptiness, void and life lacking purpose. The Islamic tradition equips any seeker of true love, contentment and fulfilling purpose with the knowledge of self orientation towards Allah -The Divine source and Creator of all life.

Islamic law navigates our outer behaviour relating to for example Prayer, Zakat and other rituals. The ancient teachings of Tasawwuf , is the inner dimensions of Islam which navigates our relationship with God and the creation, so that the seeker can reach the level of excellence in both the inner and outer aspects of their being.

The teachings of Tasawwuf are especially relevant today; preserved and passed down through Prophets and till date, through guides enlightened by this pathway, without doubt such sacred practice is needed to keep grounded amidst the hustle and bustle of life.

The teachings on purification of the self from our ego can be generalised to all of humanity. Different spiritual and religious groups have sat with Hafidh Nadeem Bukhari, to learn divine knowledge and methods of self awareness and connection with God. Regardless of their differing beliefs, the essence of unity was shared between all.

Inner dimensions of the mind, body and soul

Tasawwuf is sacred knowledge that refines and purifies the soul by methods which target the inner limitations of a person and instils certain mindful behaviours and practices for over all self development. As such individuals eventually attain a higher level of pure love and consciousness of their Creator and the creation.

The Institutes vision is to provide a safe place for anyone wishing to prioritise their wellbeing, fix their relationships and environment, all whilst nourishing their soul through connecting with God every step in their spiritual healing journey.

We will be honoured to facilitate anyone who is genuinely committed to then start their journey of spiritual transformation with the Institute by unlocking their own unique and innate potential in order to optimise their spiritual relationship with God.
